Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Sr. Associate, Data Science Engineer to join our Consulting practice in the United States. This role translates complex analytics problems into actionable technical approaches and communicates results to stakeholders across industries.

You will plan engagement objectives, retrieve and process diverse data sources, and lead teams in exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and MLOps, delivering end-to-end analytics using Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in requirements gathering and quality management using analytics and software development processes for NLP, ML on unstructured data, and/or information retrieval.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end analytics and data engineering solutions with hands-on Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks and Snowflake, partnering with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate advanced analytics problems into technical approaches and communicate results to business stakeholders across industries.
• Plan engagement objectives, deliver milestones, and work with clients to discover, retrieve, prepare, and process diverse data sources.
• Collaborate with Tax, Audit and Advisory to advance data science understanding and work with AI providers to create first-in-market solutions.
• Utilize structured problem-solving approaches and communicate results to executive audiences.
• Lead teams in data extraction, exploratory analysis, and developing ML algorithms and data science solutions.
• Uphold integrity, professionalism, and a respectful work environment.
