Job summary

Arvest Bank is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and develop data platform solutions and analytics products. You will build data architectures, move and cleanse data, and mentor teammates in a collaborative agile environment.

You will work with stakeholders to choose the right database technologies, implement automated data workflows, and ensure data quality and governance across the enterprise. The role supports flexibility within the Arvest footprint and potential remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in technical design and development.
• 2 years of experience with data methodologies and advanced data structures.
• Proficient in SQL and building complex data sets.
• Experience with enterprise ETL tools and data sources.
• Fluent in Python, Java, Kafka, and C#.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications; familiar with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design database solutions that meet business requirements and scale over time.
• Lead root cause analysis and assess impact of changes.
• Advise on database technologies with stakeholders and product teams.
