Job summary

Lumilens Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Data, to build data pipelines and dashboards turning manufacturing and test data into reliable signals for engineering, leadership, and customers.

You will collaborate with optical, manufacturing, and quality teams to model data, ensure quality, and ship end-to-end data solutions in a fast-growing multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data systems or backend/data engineering
• Strong SQL and data pipeline design/maintenance
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools (Superset, Looker, Tableau)
• Proficiency with the Python data stack (pandas, numpy) and visualization libraries

Responsibilities

• Architect and build data pipelines turning manufacturing/test data into actionable signals
• Design and maintain dashboards for executives, engineers, and customers
• Collaborate with optical, manufacturing, and quality teams to model data requirements
• Implement automated data quality checks and validation pipelines
