Qualifications

• 7+ years in data and/or database engineering.
• Deep SQL and SQL Server administration — T-SQL, performance tuning, troubleshooting.
• Experience modernizing legacy SQL / database environments.
• ELT / pipeline engineering from multiple source systems.
• Data modeling and analytics-ready datasets for BI and analytics.
• Foundational data governance and experience operationalizing data-privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Legacy SQL estate: support, stabilize, and modernize databases and data estate.
• Build and modernize ELT pipelines from source systems into a governed data store.
• Create analytics-ready data models for BI and analytics consumers.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
• Operationalize data governance and privacy controls with GRC alignment.
• Develop database depth and mentorship toward broader ownership over time.
