Job summary

RBA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and deliver modern data platforms powering analytics, AI/ML, and BI initiatives. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure data solutions across cloud environments.

You’ll design end-to-end data pipelines, support data-centric solutions, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to practice development and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or modern data platform experience.
• Cloud data platform experience and strong SQL/data modeling.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT with orchestration tools (Airflow/dbt/ADF).
• CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for data solutions.
• Excellent communication for client-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable end-to-end data pipelines across diverse data sources.
• Support sales process for data-centric solutions.
• Implement modern data architectures with governance and security.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data platforms.
• Tune workloads for performance and cost in cloud environments.
• Implement real-time streaming data solutions (Kafka/Kinesis).
• Enable AI/ML use cases with data pipelines for feature engineering.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions; contribute to strategy.
• Contribute to DevOps best practices including CI/CD and IaC (Terraform).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to practice development.
