Job summary

ServiceMac seeks a Senior Data Engineer to drive architecture, design and deployment of advanced data platforms supporting analytics and data processing. You will automate processes, scale data delivery, and collaborate with software, database, and data science teams to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes data modeling, ETL, NoSQL/SQL databases, and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies
• Proficient in SQL and T-SQL programming
• Experience building data/ETL pipelines and data warehouses
• Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, database maintenance and performance tuning
• Experience with cloud computing technologies

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement internal data delivery improvements and scalable infrastructure
• Design, develop, test, and document data architectures and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across systems
• Provide innovative recommendations to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
• Mentor and guide junior team members on data strategies
