Job summary

Eurofins Senior Data Engineer team is seeking an experienced data engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure supporting ML model training, deployment, and analysis of chemical and environmental data. You will collaborate with ML engineers and chemists to containerize models, implement data quality checks, and provide tooling for data access.

The role requires Python expertise, strong cloud experience (Azure preferred), and hands-on work with data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python proficiency and data engineering experience.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure preferred.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses or data lakes.
• Familiarity with data quality, governance, and reproducibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for chemical and environmental data.
• Develop optimized data models and manage data warehouses/lakes for ML features.
• Collaborate with MLEs and chemists to deploy and monitor ML models.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance across datasets.
