Job summary

Lobel Financial in Anaheim, CA, seeks a Senior Data Engineer with hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience to design, build, migrate, and support enterprise data platforms. You will develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and implement Medallion Architecture using OneLake, Lakehouse, and Fabric Warehouse, delivering reliable data for analytics and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data integration, warehousing, BI, or related field.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric in production/enterprise environment.
• Experience with Fabric components: Data Factory, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, Notebooks.
• Experience designing Medallion Architecture and enterprise ETL/ELT solutions.
• Strong SQL/T-SQL and Python/PySpark skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines for batch, incremental, and near-real-time processing.
• Build data ingestion and transformation solutions using Fabric components and SQL/Python/PySpark.
• Develop reusable, metadata-driven ETL/ELT frameworks across databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
• Implement CDC, incremental loads, upsert/merge, historical processing, error handling, monitoring, and data-quality controls.
• Lead legacy-to-modern data migrations with profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
• Design Medallion Architecture using OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, and Fabric Warehouse.
• Create enterprise data warehouse models with star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions.
• Troubleshoot pipelines, data, integration, and performance issues; optimize Fabric workloads.
• Document data flows, mappings, standards, lineage, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, governed, reliable, and scalable data solutions.
