Job summary

Arista Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for the Manufacturing BI team. You will develop data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data models, and Power BI reports that empower business users with reliable insights.

Collaborating with manufacturing and technical groups, you’ll optimize SQL queries, implement Fabric Lakehouse strategies, and deliver secure, high-performance data solutions across enterprise data sources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL, data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data warehouse experience.
• Strong SQL Server, T-SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Rust, or similar.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, flat files, Excel, and relational databases.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Manufacturing data and Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI developer tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and develop solutions using Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, databases, and data models.
• Build data integrations and APIs across multiple enterprise data sources.
• Develop and support Power BI reports, semantic models, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, database performance, and data quality.
• Work with Manufacturing and technical teams to define requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
