Job summary

Sportradar is seeking an experienced data engineer to lead complex data projects across advertising analytics. You will architect scalable data pipelines, build backend services in Python or Go, and own end-to-end data systems with a focus on quality and availability.

You will collaborate with analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders, leveraging AWS, Spark, and BI tools to deliver actionable insights in a fast-growing sports tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with proven track record of leading complex data projects from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Scale and optimize ETL pipelines with Spark and AWS to handle terabytes of data daily.
• Design data pipelines and backend microservices in Python or Go for batch and real-time analytics.
• Implement monitoring, data quality checks, and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Lead cross-functional data projects from requirements to delivery and mentor team members.
• Own end-to-end data systems ensuring high availability and accurate data for stakeholders.
