Job summary

A leading crypto information platform is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the creation of data models and strategies. You will work collaboratively to develop data pipelines and enhance operational efficiency. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience in the crypto industry, backend system development, and are proficient in Python, SQL, and cloud solutions. This is a remote-first position offering a salary range of $160,000 - $200,000/year with comprehensive benefits including flexible PTO and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Significant knowledge of the crypto industry, minimum 4 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience building backend systems at scale focused on data processing.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing of over 100M+ rows per day.

Responsibilities

• Architect data warehousing and sourcing strategies.
• Implement ETL approach and manage data models.
• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Identify opportunities to improve data workflows.
• Collaborate with teams across Blockworks.
