Job summary

The Fischer Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve the data foundation powering decision-making across the organization. You will create scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, modern Lakehouse/Warehouse architectures, and migrate legacy solutions to cloud-based platforms on the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

Collaboration with Analytics, BI, and IT teams is essential. This position is 100% onsite at our Erlanger, KY office, with a focus on data quality, governance, and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 3+ years building enterprise data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in production.
• Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and cloud data platforms such as ADF/Synapse/Databricks/Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures for performance and cost efficiency.
• Modernize legacy SSIS/on-prem solutions to cloud-based platforms.
• Implement data quality, governance, and data ingestion reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering standards.
