Job summary

Amazon's Selling Partner Insights and Analytics (SPIA) team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and evolve the data infrastructure behind Paragon, a platform that processes over 500 million cases annually and serves 200+ teams and 70,000+ users across Selling Partner Services.

You will design logical data models, lead reviews, and establish data governance and reliability standards while coaching other engineers and shaping the data strategy for agentic AI workloads that influence

Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering experience.
Proficiency in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS).
Experience mentoring team members on best practices.

Responsibilities

Design and operate scalable, cost-effective data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS, curating data for reporting, analytics, and ML models.
Define logical data models and architectures to support worldwide growth and data access patterns.
Lead design reviews and align data architecture with business strategy and long-term technical direction.
Establish and maintain data engineering standards for modeling, lineage, governance, reliability.
Coach and mentor other data engineers to strengthen technical capabilities.
