Job summary

Harnham, a fast-growing data team partner, is seeking a senior data engineer to architect and build a new AWS data warehouse for a physician-led healthcare services company. You will design end-to-end data pipelines from EHRs, claims, and labs, and drive how data informs clinical and operational decision-making.

This greenfield project uses Snowflake, Airflow, Python, and dbt. You’ll mentor peers, partner with leadership, and set governance standards as the platform scales toward a November

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Hands-on AWS data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; able to work in greenfield setup.

Responsibilities

• Architect data pipelines from EHRs, claims, labs, and CMS via APIs, FHIR, HL7.
• Design and run the AWS data warehouse using Snowflake from scratch.
• Build and orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow.
• Set up AWS environments to support in-house development.
• Create data infrastructure powering BI, analytics, reporting.
• Optimize data models, storage and query performance.
• Define data governance, coding standards, testing and alerts.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate goals into architecture.
• Mentor engineers as the team grows.
