Job summary

Nix is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead a strategic MarTech transformation for a large enterprise. You will modernize the marketing data platform, rebuild pipelines, and improve attribution across brands, collaborating with Product, Martech, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams.

You will design scalable, cloud-native data pipelines on GCP, optimize BigQuery models, and drive data cataloging with DataHub while advancing CI/CD and data quality across the suite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and implementing modern ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and semantic modeling.
• Experience building production-grade CI/CD pipelines for data platforms.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and optimize data models in BigQuery to support analytics and reporting.
• Rebuild legacy marketing data pipelines following modern engineering practices.
• Contribute to a canonical enterprise data model and semantic data layer.
• Support the implementation of DataHub as the enterprise data catalog.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and enforce data quality.
• Ensure proper data isolation between brands while enabling consolidated reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Martech, Analytics, and other data engineers to deliver value.
• Optimize data processing performance, reliability, monitoring, and cost.
