Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Engineer III to join the External Reporting and Finance Control team in Corporate Technology. You will design and deliver trusted data pipelines, storage, and analytics to support firm objectives, while maintaining secure, scalable architectures.

The role requires experience across the data lifecycle, strong SQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and input on data models. Collaboration with agile teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL use cases.
• Experience across the data lifecycle.
• Advanced SQL skills including joins and aggregations.
• Working understanding of NoSQL databases such as Mongo.
• Experience with statistical data analysis to select data patterns.
• Experience customizing changes in a tool to generate product.

Responsibilities

• Supports review of controls to ensure protection of enterprise data.
• Advises and makes custom configuration changes in one to two tools for business requests.
• Updates logical or physical data models based on new use cases.
• Frequently uses SQL and understands NoSQL databases and their niche.
