Job summary

Sirva is seeking a Developer/Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain systems that collect, transform, and load data from multiple sources into centralized warehouses for analysis. You will build data pipelines and optimize SQL-driven models using SQL, Python, ETL tools, and platforms like Databricks or SQL Server for data integration and reporting.

In this role you will spend 75% on data integration and ETL, 20% on modeling and optimization, and 5% on collaboration with Cloud Architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience with ETL Design, Data Warehousing, or developing Business Intelligence solutions.
• Experience working in a global environment and with remote and distributed teams.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience with: Languages: SQL, Python.
• Data Transformation Tools: Azure Data Factory, Visual Studio SSIS, Databricks.
• Data Warehousing/Cloud Architecture: Databricks, Azure, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric.
• Version Control: Git, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Data Integration & ETL: Building and maintaining data pipelines to move data from source systems to warehouses
• Modeling & Optimization: Developing semantic models, complex SQL queries, and data sets for performance and accuracy
• Collaboration: Working with Cloud Architects, Reporting Team and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
