Job summary

VTG is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to bridge business needs with technical solutions. You will design and optimize ETL pipelines, conditioning financial data for enterprise tools and enabling advanced analytics.

A strong focus on data quality, scalability, and collaboration with data managers and stakeholders is essential. The role requires Python/SQL proficiency, experience with Airflow and Hop, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience building, optimizing, and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data conditioning and normalization.
• Experience with AWS; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Condition and normalize raw and structured data for downstream tools.
• Leverage AI models to improve data fidelity and automate workflows.
• Build repeatable workflows using Airflow and Hop; collaborate with team and stakeholders.
• Deploy scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS; work in a cross-functional environment.
