Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a data engineer to build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and processing data. You will ensure pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient while designing data models, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.

The role requires SQL/NoSQL experience, and hands-on work with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, plus cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will help move from JDE to new JDE and lead related integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop and Kafka for large-scale processing.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and processing data.
• Ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
• Design and implement data models, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.
• Optimize data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka for large-scale data processing.
• Deploy and manage data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Improve query performance and storage efficiency.
• Implement indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies for faster data retrieval.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
