Job summary

GT is seeking a Data Engineer to design, maintain, and scale pipelines powering a unified data platform. You will ingest, transform, and enrich firmographic data, collaborating with data architects and analysts to align data structures with business needs.

This 6-month contract involves working with dbt, Snowflake, Spark, Airflow, and Azure Data Lake on modern cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable analytics and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of data engineering experience with production-grade pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Understanding of data modeling, version control, CI/CD, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process third-party and first-party datasets.
• Apply transformation, normalization, and enrichment to ensure data quality and usability.
• Collaborate with product managers, data architects, and content experts to align data structures with business needs.
• Operationalize data matching and entity resolution processes using AI/ML tools and proprietary frameworks.
• Monitor pipelines by building alerts, logs, and metrics to keep data flows healthy and issues resolvable.
• Develop dbt models from raw data through staging and semantic layers for analytics and dashboards.
• Contribute to documentation and code quality standards to ensure maintainability.
