Acrisure Enterprise Technology Group in Austin, TX is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineer to unify data across the enterprise. You will build pipelines and reusable data models, integrating Palantir Foundry and cloud technologies, while mentoring others in an Agile environment.

Join a team transitioning to Palantir Foundry with BigQuery, Databricks, Azure, and Postgres, leveraging Python, Scala, and JavaScript to enable analytics, ops, and AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with modern lakehouse architecture (Delta Lake, Iceberg).
• Hands-on Databricks experience with Spark, batch and streaming pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve reusable data engineering patterns for onboarding data sources.
• Design and implement automated data management processes for quality, security, governance.
• Own major deliverables end-to-end from design to production support.
• Design reusable data models, pipelines, and components for multiple use cases.
• Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and share patterns and best practices.
