Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Data Engineer on the Enterprise team to design and scale batch and real-time data pipelines that empower enterprise decision-making. You will collaborate with product, analytics, and backend teams to build reliable, well-documented datasets and contribute to GovSlack initiatives for government customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data architecture, strong Python/SQL, and experience with Airflow, ETL, and data governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, master data management, or metadata management.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data pipeline engineering experience.
• Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, eligible for GovSlack clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data models.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines with defined SLAs.
• Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to build foundational datasets.
• Champion data strategy across teams and promote best practices.
• Expand access to core company metrics via robust data foundations.
