Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data modeling.
• Proficient in relational modeling: star schema, snowflake.
• Proven SQL optimization and ETL scaling in data warehouses.
• Experience with Airflow or similar workflow tools.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Knowledge of data governance, SDLC, and Agile.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• US citizen or lawful permanent resident for GovSlack.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data models.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines with defined SLAs.
• Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to build datasets.
• Champion data strategy and ensure reliability at scale.
• Expand access to core metrics through foundational datasets.
• Document and promote data engineering best practices.
