Exelon is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain data warehouse solutions under the guidance of a Principal Data Engineer or Manager. You may coordinate tasks for other team members and partner with business and IT stakeholders.

The role emphasizes implementing data standards, security policies, and delivering insightful BI reports. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 4–7 years of data warehousing/BI experience are expected; proficiency with scripting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with 4–7 years of data warehouse design, BI reporting, and ETL/TLT processing experience.
• Deep knowledge of Big Data technology and its impact on company systems.
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide data standards including definitions and naming conventions.
• Experience interviewing users as part of a systems development team to gather information.
• Ability to use scripting tools such as PowerShell or Ansible to automate tasks and troubleshoot scripts.

Responsabilités

• Plan and analyze work activities for projects, sub-projects, or processes; design, build, and test IT software solutions per IT project standards; support operations to defined SLAs.
• Create documentation for products and services and monitor adherence to standards within the team.
• Maintain and strengthen engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders.
• Assist and train less experienced personnel and foster a positive team environment.
• Proactively build technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline.
