Job summary

D&G Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support USTRANSCOM's Joint Petroleum Enterprise by building data pipelines, APIs, and data integration solutions for the DoD. You will ingest data into Databricks, collaborate on COP development, and help mature enterprise data management, metadata, and governance across the Joint Petroleum Enterprise.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and 5+ years of data engineering experience with Spark, Python, and cloud platforms, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical discipline.
Strong proficiency with SQL and Python.
Experience with data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines ingesting data into Databricks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on COP development and data integration.
Review DoD data sources to identify integration opportunities.
Design scalable ingestion processes for enterprise data and APIs.
Develop and maintain APIs for enterprise data access.
Manage data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and governance artifacts.
Support data modeling and architecture decisions.
Participate in technical working groups and governance forums.
