Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build, operate and own the enterprise data warehouse and core pipelines on Databricks. You will shape the EDW architecture from Bronze to Gold, define ingestion patterns, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced healthcare data environment.

You will drive event-driven ingestion, data quality, and governance, while collaborating with QA, Analytics, and Data Governance teams. This is a hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with production ownership of data warehouses or large pipelines.
• Deep with Databricks, Delta Lake, and medallion architecture; strong data modeling and governance.
• Advanced SQL and Python/PySpark for complex transformations; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Own EDW pipelines and data models across Bronze, Silver, Gold layers with conformance logic.
• Develop and maintain Delta Lake pipelines and event-driven ingestion with low latency.
• Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and ensure data quality and reliability.
