Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Engineer to drive design and development of data products and infrastructure. You will own data solutions that support compliance reporting and content regulation processes, building unified architectures to reduce fragmentation and enable consistent reporting.

You will work with policy leaders and engineering partners to define data standards and scale operations across a global data platform. Strong SQL/Python, data modeling, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of software experience in SQL or Python.
• Experience with Data Modeling, Data Storage, or Data Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data processing systems and data structures for content removal and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with policy specialists and cross-functional partners to translate business needs into robust data designs.
• Create unified data pipelines and models to simplify data access and establish sources of truth.
• Analyze and profile large datasets to improve data quality and enable data-driven decisions.
• Guide engineering best practices for data lifecycle management, storage design, and data discoverability.
