Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to partner with customers, source data, and build scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions used by leadership to drive decision-making. You will own delivery, reliability, and long-term data strategy across the DCE Design Engineering org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and Data Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key customers to understand their data and metrics reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to source data from systems they own, and build team-owned data stores when needed.
• Design and build data pipelines and reporting solutions that harness that data.
• Own delivery and reliability — ensuring quality data and reports reach customers on time and can be trusted for business decision-making.
