Paramount Streaming, a division within Paramount Global, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive data strategy, build scalable pipelines, and craft data-driven BI solutions. You will partner with product, BI, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality data ingestion, storage, and analytics across large-scale datasets.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 4+ years in Analytics/Measurement/Data Operations or related consulting
• Experience with relational and NoSQL data management systems
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with exploratory data analysis using iPython Notebook, Pandas, matplotlib
• Proven ability to document and train impacted teams
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to influence data standards and policies

Responsibilities

• Work with large traffic data to develop pipelines improving data quality
• Break down complex data problems and provide feasible solutions
• Extract patterns from large datasets to generate actionable insights
• Use Jupyter, SQL, dashboards, statistics, and visualizations to analyze data
• Collaborate with product and BI teams on data ingestion, structure, and storage
• Coordinate with engineering and BI teams to implement data solutions
• Propose improvements and lead data projects from start to finish
• Mentor junior team members on data best practices
