Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to build complex data pipelines moving data from diverse sources into the Enterprise Data Lakehouse. You will architect, troubleshoot, and design sophisticated workflows and data transformations to support analytics and reporting across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of ETL experience, 3+ years with Databricks, strong SQL/DB skills (Oracle, SQL Server), and cloud experience (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or Analytics.
• 10+ years hands-on experience as an ETL engineer.
• 3+ years experience on Databricks.
• Well versed with Oracle, SQL Server and other DBs.
• Cloud experience with AWS, SQL, data modeling, Informatica, Fivetran or Azure Data Factory.
• Deep understanding of extracting data from ODBC sources and APIs.
• Basic Python skills.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Visualization Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Strong consultative and analytical skills; influence internal customers.
• Proactive, initiative-taking with complex issues resolution.

Responsibilities

• Review source to target mapping documents.
• Design and document ETL pipelines using industry standard ETL tools.
• Streamline and build robust data pipelines with clear lineage.
• Monitor flow of data across databases, cloud and on premise.
• Implement best practices and standardize data integration across sources.
• Profile and detect data anomalies and improve data quality.
• Build Master Data Management processes and cleansing algorithms.
• Establish robust data flows with logging and troubleshooting methods.
• Work in a fast pace and changing environment.
• Provide consultative advice on technical issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and Data teams globally.
