Job summary

Cheil USA/CRM Data & Analytics seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own the Samsung CRM data environment. You will connect client data sources, prepare data for analysts, and set up a Cheil data server on Google Cloud or AWS with secure API access for fast analytics and AI tooling.

Responsibilities include building pipelines, governing data models, and automating recurring extracts while mentoring a junior engineer and ensuring security compliance in a hybrid Plano, TX setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, ideally with marketing or customer data.
• Advanced Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building data platforms on Google Cloud (BigQuery) or AWS (Redshift, S3).
• Experience building pipelines and APIs, and with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and privacy.
• Experience with Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics or customer data platforms is a plus.
• Must be able to work the hybrid schedule at the agency in Plano, Texas.

Position Overview

The Senior Data Engineer builds and owns the data environment behind the Samsung Mobile (MX) CRM program. The role connects client data sources, prepares data to the analysts' specifications, and sets up a Cheil data server on Google Cloud or AWS with secure API access, so the team can analyze, model and automate at speed.

Key Responsibilities
