Job summary

Pella is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Agile scrum team. This position will lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and transactional needs. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in data engineering and strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities include designing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on data management initiatives. This role will involve a moderate amount of travel (5-10%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or software development.
• Understanding of Data Governance and Data Stewardship concepts.
• Experience operating within a Product Scrum Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines to manage data flow.
• Build data pipelines to support analytics use cases.
• Lead cloud data migration and transformation projects.

Skills

Expertise in Azure cloud technologies

Skilled in Python, SPARK and SQL

Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or GCP

Strong grasp of CI/CD operating practices

Education

BS degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
