Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and curation pipelines across the Data Platform. You will extend legacy pipelines into AWS and Databricks lakehouse environments, build Java-based data services, and support intake processes with standardized patterns.

You will deliver production-ready data pipelines, implement data quality and monitoring, and ensure security and compliance within an Agile/CI/CD framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Six (6) or more years of data engineering/ETL experience using Informatica or similar platforms.
• Experience building data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and curation of structured and semi-structured data.
• Experience developing Java-based data services and APIs for enterprise data access.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, IAM) and Databricks lakehouse.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and curation pipelines using Informatica and related ETL tools.
• Extend legacy ETL pipelines into AWS and Databricks lakehouse environments for batch and near real-time ingestion.
• Build and support Java-based data services, APIs, and integration layers for secure data access.
• Support intake activities through requirements analysis, source profiling, and standardized data integration patterns.
• Develop production-ready data pipelines aligned to SDLC and CI/CD processes.
• Implement data quality validation, transformation logic, and performance optimization.
• Integrate data pipelines with AWS components and Databricks to enable secure, scalable data movement.
• Support governance practices with metadata capture, lineage tracking, and audit logging.
