Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Charleston is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines and cloud-based data systems that support analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python, SQL, and AWS services such as S3 and Redshift, with experience integrating Salesforce data and using Airflow or AWS Glue for orchestration.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in MIS, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 5–7 years of ETL and system integration experience.
• 5–7 years of cloud tech experience (Airflow, Glue, or similar).
• 5–7 years of SQL, Redshift or Snowflake or similar data warehouse experience.
• 5–7 years of Python development for integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data integrations (SQL Server, APIs, Yardi, Salesforce to Redshift/S3).
• Develop and maintain enterprise datasets, models, and transformation frameworks; enable reporting and analytics.
• Contribute to DevOps/CI/CD practices and data governance to ensure data quality and reliability.
