Qualifications

• 4+ years of dedicated data engineering experience at scale.
• Experience building data models and pipelines on multi-terabyte to petabyte datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL and modern orchestration tools like DBT, Mode, and Airflow.
• Experience with warehouses and data lakes: Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Experience batch and real-time pipelines using Spark and Kafka.
• Strong schema design for analytics on unstructured data.
• Willingness to prototype new technologies balancing innovation with usability.
• Ability to own and improve low-level data infrastructure and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Commitment to data privacy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Understand Plaid product and strategy to inform dataset choices.
• Own SQL and Python pipelines powering data lake/warehouse.
• Lead data engineering projects and drive cross-team collaboration.
