Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for advanced analytics and ML initiatives. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure reliable data flow across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong skills in Spark, SQL, Python/Scala, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on big data technologies.
Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Strong collaboration skills in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities
