Job summary

Papigen is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 15+ years of experience to independently lead Oracle to Azure migration initiatives. You will reverse‑engineer legacy logic and architect Azure‑based data integration solutions across large enterprise data environments.

You will design ETL/ELT pipelines, perform mappings and transformations, and produce design documents, test plans, and deployment artifacts. Strong stakeholder communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of data engineering experience.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience leading migration workstreams independently.
• Reverse‑engineering legacy database logic.
• Designing Azure‑based data integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refactor Oracle PL/SQL logic for Azure migration.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Perform source-to-target mapping, data transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
• Create migration design documents, test plans, and deployment artifacts.
• Support integration testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and production releases.
