Job summary

Wealth Management is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and operate data pipelines and warehouses. The role emphasizes Azure-based data solutions, ETL/ELT processes and strong SQL/Python/Scala capabilities. Initial on-site presence is required for 90 days with one day per week remote work thereafter.

The candidate will collaborate with BI teams, implement scalable data models, and contribute to enterprise data assets using Azure, SQL Server, Cosmos DB and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years creating data solutions and software.
• 5+ years relational DBs experience, MS Azure ecosystem.
• 2+ years Azure IaaS/PaaS and other cloud tech.
• 2+ years Azure data tools: ADF, Synapse, Cosmos DB, GitHub, DevOps, CI/CD.
• ETL/ELT expertise with SSIS, Informatica, Kafka, Spark, MuleSoft.
• MS SQL Server/Oracle/NoSQL expertise.
• Python/SQL/Scala proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Apply Agile practices to elicit, refine, and deliver data assets with BI teams.
• Develop, configure, and manage integration tools, databases, and warehouses.
• Build data pipelines from databases, APIs, and files.
• Design storage models and dimensional models across platforms.
• Coordinate security, monitoring, tooling, and related capabilities.
• Provide operations support for data pipelines and incidents.
• Document processes and technical designs accurately.
• Coach junior data/BI staff and guide skill growth.
