Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior Data Engineer to modernize and maintain an ecommerce analytics platform for a major US retailer. You will design scalable data pipelines, implement cloud-based data models, and enable cross-team collaboration across Customer, Loyalty, Search and Data Integration domains.

Responsibilities include leading data engineering efforts, mentoring engineers, and delivering robust ETL/ELT solutions on Azure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall data engineering experience.
• At least 1+ year in a lead/architect role.
• Proficient with Azure data services and cloud architectures.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for warehousing.
• Extensive ETL/ELT experience across diverse sources.
• Experience integrating data from APIs and databases.
• Azure/Databricks certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design a solution to process large data volumes and integrate with current architecture.
• Lead data engineering efforts across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data models for analytics.
