Job summary

Thought Logic Consulting in Dallas is seeking a Principal Consultant, Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Data & Analytics team. You will build scalable data pipelines, develop ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with clients to unlock insights from data in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

You will work with Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Snowflake, and Databricks while supporting dashboards in Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering experience.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with ETL/ELT and modern data tools such as ADF, Glue, Snowflake, Databricks.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and data modeling concepts.
Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders on fast‑paced projects.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud tools.
Develop ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and ensure data quality.
Support data models and cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
Assist in creating dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of data solutions.
Engage in client-facing workstreams and mentorship of junior teammates.
Learn and apply modern data engineering and cloud practices across industries.
