Job summary

Accenture PLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to own data pipelines and data products for AI systems, applying evidence-extraction techniques and lineage tracing to ensure trusted mappings.

You'll lead migration work on a data-engineering engagement with 0–100% travel depending on client needs, collaborating with agile teams and leveraging Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms. Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in data engineering with AI/LLM focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering or data platform engineering
• 4+ years in Agile engineering or consulting teams
• 3+ years with Python and SQL at production scale, plus at least one cloud data platform
• Experience with data lineage and observability to catch drift
• 1+ year designing data supply for AI systems (vector stores, embedding pipelines, or agent-facing data products)
• AI-adjacent experience plus 1-2 years of LLM work
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the data-engineering work on a migration engagement, feeding AI systems with data pipelines and data products
• Apply evidence-extraction techniques and git-history mining to source estate before mappings are trusted
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable data solutions for AI workloads
• Travel may be required (0–100%) depending on client requirements
