Job summary

EY is seeking a Data Engineer for its Advanced Forward Engineering (AFE) team. You will embed with client delivery pods to ensure data is accessible, governed, and production-ready for AI deployments in regulated environments.

You'll own data readiness, design robust ingestion and transformation patterns, and partner with Forward Deployed Software Engineers to enable reliable AI workflows. A strong background in cloud data systems and governance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or analytics experience.
• Hands-on data pipelines in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data modeling and API-based access.
• Experience in data governance, security, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as data owner within an AFE delivery pod to keep data ready for delivery.
• Design ingestion, transformation, and access patterns for AI systems.
• Ensure pipelines meet governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to enable reliable AI workflows.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
