Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data platforms and pipelines that support our energy industry software products. You will build scalable data architectures and develop AI/ML workflows in cloud environments.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data engineering, governance, and secure AI practices with a focus on reliability and performance in production systems. A bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software/data engineering experience.
• Oil and Gas Experience preferred
• ETL/Data Pipeline Engineering
• Software Development fundamentals
• System Design and Architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
• Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
• Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions.
• Implement LLM and Generative AI solutions, including:
• Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability.
