Job summary

LG Ad Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join the Measurement and Reporting team and help design, build, and maintain large-scale data platforms powering reporting, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.

You will work on data pipelines, data models, and AI applications, with occasional frontend work to enhance dashboards and internal tools. A strong foundation in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies is essential, as is a passion for scalable systems in the AdTech space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, software engineering, or related role.
• Strong experience building large-scale data pipelines and distributed processing.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with production-grade data solutions.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar tech.
• Strong data modeling, warehousing, and data lake architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience building APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to learn new AI tools quickly.
• Proficiency in unit/integration/end-to-end testing.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors/consultants while owning delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data processing systems for reporting, analytics, and ML applications.
• Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing using modern data frameworks and cloud-native tech.
• Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and data lakes for high-quality data.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal and external systems for data movement.
• Build and enhance agentic AI apps using LLMs, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and automation.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, operations, and engineering to enable AI-driven automation.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs supporting data products and AI-powered solutions.
• Occasionally develop frontend features and dashboards for internal/customer use.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and AI systems for performance and cost.
• Implement data governance, quality checks, monitoring, and observability.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster learning and innovation.
