Job summary

Managed.com is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and evolve CloudBlue’s data and analytics platform. You will build scalable data infrastructure and embed AI into backend services, APIs, and business workflows across our cloud-native SaaS platform.

Remote-first, global team with competitive pay and growth opportunities. You will work on real-time data pipelines, AI-powered workflows, and APIs across the CloudBlue ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background in data-intensive systems.
• Extensive experience building data pipelines and data models for production workloads.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with event-streaming tech (Kafka/NATS/Flink).
• Experience with cloud-native infra (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data contracts, quality, observability, and SLOs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and AI service integration.
• Strong API design and data access patterns.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• English communication in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-volume, high-performance data fabric with real-time ingestion and analytics.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production."
