Job summary

Blue Margin is seeking a Level III Data Engineer to build and evolve data platforms powering analytics for our clients. You’ll work hands-on with Python, PySpark, Delta Lake, and cloud-native stacks to enable scalable data processing and AI integration.

Join a collaborative team to extend MCP Servers, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with analysts and engineers. This full-time hybrid role is based in Fort Collins or Denver, with US work eligibility and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional data engineering experience with Python and PySpark.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with large datasets, performance tuning, and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and optimize data pipelines using PySpark, SparkSQL, Delta Lake, and cloud-native tools.
• Support incremental/delta data loading, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Implement and support solutions across Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and/or Snowflake environments.
• Collaborate with analysts and senior engineers to turn requirements into working data solutions.
• Use AI/automation to improve development speed, testing, and data quality.
• Follow software engineering best practices, API and service design, testing, and secure authentication, in platform and MCP Server development.
