Job summary

Airtable is hiring a Software Engineer, Data to design and own mission-critical data pipelines and scalable data solutions. You’ll partner with data science, analytics, and product teams to enable data-driven decisions and measure AI-driven adoption across Airtable's AI-native platform.

You’ll work with Python, SQL, and Airflow to build foundational data structures, dashboards, and discovery tooling, while experimenting with AI-enabled analytics and visualization to improve user experience at

Qualifications

3-8+ years of professional experience designing, creating, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
Proficient in Python and SQL; comfortable with multiple languages as needed.
Curious about how AI is reshaping data engineering and actively experimenting with AI tooling.
Excellent written and visual communication to convey findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Design and own mission-critical data pipelines and tables to enable decision-making across teams.
Build and maintain foundational data tables and AI usage metrics for executive insight.
Leverage AI tools for pipeline development and AI-powered data discovery.
Establish a pattern language across the data stack for consistency and reliability.
Improve performance and reliability of the data warehouse.
Collaborate with data scientists and analytics engineers to translate business questions into data solutions.
