Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines for Customer 360 and personalization initiatives. You will work with Databricks/Spark to build batch and streaming pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance across marketing data assets.

You will partner with data science and MarTech teams to deliver governed attributes and activation-ready datasets while supporting privacy and compliance requirements in a fast-paced retail data environment.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python/Scala programming skills.
• Experience with Databricks/Spark and data lake/warehouse design.
• Experience with real-time streaming (Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with reverse-ETL and identity resolution tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Develop Customer 360 data model and data feeds to activation platforms.
• Implement data-quality monitoring and governance across data flows.
• Collaborate with data science and marketing tech teams to enable personalization.
