Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an experienced professional to define and deliver data-centric product capabilities. You will collaborate with product owners, data stewards and engineers to shape the data products, models and APIs that power decision making.

You will design pipelines and services using Python, SQL and FastAPI, implement robust data contracts, and own deployment, monitoring and incident response in a secure, scalable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Production experience with Python, SQL, FastAPI, Pydantic, asynchronous programming, packaging and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying and operating Model Context Protocol servers or equivalent interfaces.
• Experience with AWS data services, orchestration, dbt or similar transformation tooling, CI/CD, Git-based review, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business definitions into durable models, contracts and tested logic, with responsibility for a sensitive production capability.

Responsibilities

• Define the product decisions, sources, terms, rules and ownership with product owners and data experts.
• Design the product slice including models, keys, date logic, contracts, API and versioning; build and operate pipelines and services.
• Embed quality, metadata, lineage, privacy and security with tests and traceability.
• Own deployment and operation through CI/CD, observability and incident response.
