Job summary

7Seventy Recruiting seeks an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Advana to develop, integrate, and maintain scalable data solutions for U.S. Army financial management and data modernization initiatives.

You will design data pipelines, model data, ensure governance and security, and collaborate with government stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, enterprise-grade data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development, integration, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing and maintaining data solutions on the Advana platform.
• Hands-on enterprise data engineering for ingestion, transformation, integration, and processing of large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions on the Advana platform.
• Ingest, process, and transform complex financial and enterprise datasets to support Army reporting and analytics.
• Develop data models, workflows, and analytical datasets aligned with mission requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, quality, governance, and lineage across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams and government stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Support integration of enterprise systems and financial data sources.
• Test, deploy, document, troubleshoot, and maintain production data solutions.
• Provide ongoing user support and resolve issues affecting data solutions and workflows.
• Contribute to long-term sustainment and improvement of data capabilities for finance and enterprise decision-making.
